Ski Bum *Seconds*
***Please note, these skeins are seconds!***
I finished up this batch at the end of a long day, put it in the water to rinse and then ran upstairs to do something really quick. An HOUR AND A HALF later I remembered the yarn. And not surprisingly, there was some color transfer of red on to the white sections. It's barely there pink, but it's there and I've posted some photos so you can see what's going on.
I've discounted the skeins 15%.
Make the most fun hats, mittens, cowls, toys, socks, baby knits, and leg warmers with our self striping DK. You can even use the striping skeins as sleeves for sweaters!

The Ski Bum Hat sample is knit using the Party of Five pattern by Jill Zielinski, as a guide. I knit the hat as directed for stitch counts but made the brim longer and added a round of purl bumps at the start of each color. I liked the purl side of the hat, but it is totally reversible!
The mittens are the Simple Mittens pattern by Julia Marsh. Again, I followed directions as written but purled a round at the start of each new color.
The patterns are available on Ravelry.
